Today has been one of those days where things go mind-numbingly slow to the point that it never seems to end. It started off nice at first; the morning was a blue sky that promised a beautiful day but later turned cloudy and gray. I swear my mood is dictated by the weather because my mind slowed down, too, and I could hardly get any work done. I prayed that I wouldn’t fall asleep at work.
The drive home was languid, but at least it wasn’t congested. I started feeling my throat get itchy, though, and my sluggishness persisted through the rest of the day. I fear that I’m catching a bug. I blame my poor, sick, baby nephew.
Alas, my growing need to get a new skill has led to me signing up for a couple of courses that I will be doing on the side. I’ve been in a learning mood, so this should help. Plus, should I decide to make a project of it, I will make sure to post it on my new site. I think it’ll be fun. Maybe in the coming weeks, I’ll go back to drawing some more and put my work up, too. Maybe I’m just being too ambitious and eager; I had been reading about showing my work while I learned new things, and as you might be able to tell, it has sparked a bit of inspiration. It’s what got me to start this site and blog. Anyway, I’m very excited about this new side project of mine, and I hope to share with you all something worthwhile.
