What technology would you be better off without, why?

It’s very difficult for me to think of any tech I’d be better off without. First of all, my job requires me to use all kinds of tech, which honestly makes me appreciate humanity’s achievements even more. As someone who works in cancer research, things we are able to do because modern tech has become so accessible, faster, and far-reaching inspires me daily… so, to even think that technology could be done without is kinda blasphemous for someone like me.

Sure, there are pros and cons to every tech, but in my opinion, most of the bad stuff is pretty much the user’s fault. Sometimes, we can’t restrain ourselves. We become addicted. Sometimes, people exploit tech. It’s not the tech/tool’s fault – we’re just human.

So, to answer the question, honestly… I can’t think of a tech I’d do better without. It’s either useful to me, or I just don’t use it.
