Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?

I have only made big travels several times in my life, so my list of favorite places I’ve visited is pretty short. There are two that are up there, though, one being Rome. Rome was amazing to me because of its cultural and historical significance, but in terms of beauty, I’d have to say Estes Park in Colorado is my favorite place I’ve visited.

It was my first time seeing so much snow. The cabin we rented was up on the mountainside, so getting there was a little scary for us Texans. But we made it, and the view was wonderful. Downtown looked very much to me like a little Christmas Town. The cabin was super cozy and had ample space. One of the greatest yet simplest joys was going down the snowy hills on the sled with the kids. Despite the park being closed to us due to excess snow, we had so much fun. It was truly magical.
