What podcasts are you listening to?
These days I’ve been following mainly three podcasts, two of which are in the horror genre and the other which I listen to help me become more financially literate:
Let’s Not Meet is a podcast I have been listening for a few years. I learned about it from some friends when I was working a tedious job, and it saved me from getting bored to death. Every episode includes stories sent in by listeners narrated by the host of the show, Andrew Tate (no, not that Andrew Tate). It is suspenseful and keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Radio Rental is another one I’m obsessed with. Like Let’s Not Meet, it is a horror podcast featuring several stories each episode about strange happenings – though unlike Let’s Not Meet, it’s the people telling their stories themselves. Additionally, the stories can border on the supernatural. Did I mention it is hosted by Rainn Wilson*?
* As his character, Terry Carnation.
Last but not least, it’s The Clark Howard Podcast. Can’t be dwelling too much on horror podcasts, as variety is the spice of life. So in my goal of consuming media that will help me in life, I stumbled upon Clark Howard and his podcast. He gives great advice and offers tips on saving money and he, along with co-host Christa, are just so comforting to listen to. They provide a cozy and informative start to my day.
So these are the podcasts that I’m currently listening to, though every now and then I dive into entire series (true crime and documentaries). I’ve enjoyed series like Bear Brook, Root of Evil, S-Town, Hunting Warhead and Dirty John to help me get through my morning and afternoon commute. I’m always on the lookout for series, so if anyone has any recs, I would love to hear them!
